The process with any custom build is to start with a concept and take very short well thought out steps foreword.
The goal with any project is to keep the customer as involved as possible. The characteristics of any piece of furniture are dependent on its user, so whether you’re looking for something sturdy and functional, ornate and delicate, or somewhere in between, the first step is understanding your needs.
The process begins usually with a home visit, a conversation and some sketches. The goal with this is to get an idea of what you’re looking for and how it fits into your space. From there we try and narrow down design facets, drawing from existing concepts and ideas and creating 2d and 3d models and proofs showcasing different materials, features and hardware.
Once we’re satisfied with our design choices and cost breakdown we begin constructions. The assembly and production of your piece is done meticulously and methodically, keeping you in the loop throughout the process to ensure you’re approval. From a pile of lumber to the final product, you’ll be there every step of the way.
